Our two-part epoxy flake system is a high build natural and organic resin mixed with 1/4" vinyl flakes and sealed with a polyaspartic urethane clear top coat.

A simple process for a long-lasting epoxy flake floor

Floor preparation is the key to every long-lasting Charlotte epoxy flake floor.
At Titan Garage Floors we have a meticulous installation process that pays attention to every small detail.

Diamond Grinding

Every floor project we do, we always start by mechanically grinding the concrete floor. This not only removes all dirt, grime, oil and stains, but it also ensures proper adhesion of our product.

Concrete Floor Repair

Once we have brought your concrete back to a clean slab, we move onto repairing any cracks and holes on the floor and then smoothing them over.
This simple task of sealing the defects is crucial for the structural integrity of your epoxy flooring.

Primer, Base Coat and Flakes

Once the floor preparation is completed, we move onto applying a primer coat, basecoat and broadcast the flake.
We make sure the whole floor is well covered with the vinyl chip flakes.

Scrape and Topcoat

When the basecoat is fully cured, we scrape off the excess flakes.
Once all loose flakes are removed, we then seal the floor with a polyaspartic urethane clear top coat. The topcoat will seal all gaps between the flakes and create the smooth floor surface.
Our top coat product has an exceptionally quick tack free time of around 1-2 hours for foot traffic.
